Dear Mr. Manuel, I am sending you an email!
I have read on your website that you are very into the Prospects of baseball!! I love that stuff, too.
Here goes: My brother (Lake Henry) played high school baseball in California and in Wisconsin. Lake was very good. I saw him hit a home run (two words?)! Even when I was little, I knew that I wasn't going to be able to do that! Can you believe it? I ahve played softball before. My brother (lake Henry) played first base, thrid base, and the outfield! He also was on the football team! Both offense and defense! I have seen Lake throw a ball from the Outfield position through the infield, over the pitcher's head, and into the glove of the catcher positiion! That was really far. I tried to do that last year (at age 35, but getting younger!) and I couldn't even throw it to the guy on second base. Whoo! Just thinking about it makes me tired about it. Wow!
I remeber when Lake played baseball he used to always have to wear stir ups.
Anyway, this is why I'm writing to you: I need you to get Lake a job in baseball. Do you think you could get him a job on the Dodgers? First base? Third base? Outfied? He's still good. he is old (38). He plays like someone in their younger thirties though. He is very good at carpentry. What a prospect! WHAT A PROSPECT! He is also a ladies' man. Do not leave him alone with your wife or daughter or girlfriend (I don't know if you're married or have any kids (I am not married and do not have any kids)). This is really fun, writing you. Wow! bAseball is great!
I watched the Dodgers game last week. I also saw one the week before, when they won! Go Dodgers! Bring back Fernando!
Eric Gagne is injured. Caesar is back! Hee Sop Choi is from Korea! I don't know which end of the country.
That's it. What do you think? Lake is very good. He could hit for a four hundred average and not strike out often. He also could get doubles. Extra bases!!!! Think about it.
-Fritz Henry
p.s. How owuld you feel about getting a little game together this weekend? My mom's in town and I told her Lake plays for the Dodgers. Also we would need you to get us into Dodger stadium.
